At the local craft market

I exhibited my artwork, books and booklets at my local craft market today and got to know about some very useful resources to promote and sell my artwork.

My spot was next to a singer/songwriter who painted as a hobby and use www.theartsource.org
to exhibit his paintings - and he seems to be doing fine. One small biz gentleman suggested I do big canvasses and carried along the lines of my most three current paintings of nature and animals - which I said I’d do once I’ve done about 100 watercolours.

Visit my artwork and ‘jewellery by artisans’ website at: http://www.innovativecabin.com/

A few others came by to discuss my works and just to say hi which showed good cameraderieship and interest.

Craft markets are such a good place to exhibit artwork (I couldn’t sell any jewellery there as two sellers were already selling Peruvian jewellery). However, having an outlet for my artwork and writings is a bonus and a good way of publicising both - it helps to have very helpful like-minded ‘neighbours’ too.
